The Letter Says

Jeremiah 29:1-3

Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the
prophet sent from Jerusalem to the remainder of the elders
who were carried away captive — to the priests, the
prophets, and all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had
carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon.
2 (This happened after Jeconiah the king, the queen mother,
the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, the
craftsmen, and the smiths had departed from Jerusalem.)
3 The letter was sent by the hand of Elasah the son of
Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah
king of Judah sent to Babylon, to Nebuchadnezzar king of

Babylon, saying,

2 Kings 23:1-3

Now the king sent them to gather all the elders of Judah and

Jerusalem to him.

2 The king went up to the house of the Lord with all the men
of Judah, and with him all the inhabitants of Jerusalem —
the priests and the prophets and all the people, both small
and great. And he read in their hearing all the words of the
Book of the Covenant which had been found in the house of

the Lord.

3 Then the king stood by a pillar and made a covenant
before the Lord, to follow the Lord and to keep His
commandments and His testimonies and His statutes, with

all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of this
covenant that were written in this book. And all the people

took a stand for the covenant.

Time to make your stand for what has been
forgotten according to the Lord.

2 Kings 23:24

24 Moreover Josiah put away those who consulted mediums
and spiritists, the household gods and idols, all the
abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in
Jerusalem, that he might perform the words of the law
which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found

in the house of the Lord.

Those who are consulting mediums and spiritist
will be exposed and then disposed of in order to
cleanse the church of its corruption.
Who has been talking to who?

Job 4:12-16

12 Now a word was secretly brought to me, And my ear

received a whisper of it.

13 In disquieting thoughts from the visions of the night,

When deep sleep falls on men,

14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, Which made all my

bones shake.

15 Then a spirit passed before my face; The hair on my body

stood up.

16 It stood still, But I could not discern its appearance. A
form was before my eyes; There was silence; Then I heard a

voice saying:

Who whispers in your ear?
Who brings a word of fear?

Who comes in the night to cause fear and trembling?
A vision of darkness that is not discerned by sight.
A night vision that is sent to whisper fear in your ear.

2 Timothy 1:7

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and

of love and of a sound mind.

2 Chronicles 18:20-22

20 Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord,
and said, I will persuade him. The Lord said to him, In

what way?

21 So he said, I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth
of all his prophets. And the Lord said, You shall persuade

him and also prevail; go out and do so.

22 Therefore look! The Lord has put a lying spirit in the
mouth of these prophets of yours, and the Lord has declared

disaster against you.

A lying spirit whispers.

Luke 23:1-12

Then the whole multitude of them arose and led Him to

Pilate.

2 And they began to accuse Him, saying, We found this
fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to
Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.
3 Then Pilate asked Him, saying, Are You the King of the
Jews? He answered him and said, It is as you say.
4 So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, I find no

fault in this Man.

5 But they were the more fierce, saying, He stirs up the
people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from

Galilee to this place.

6 When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked

if the Man were a Galilean.

7 And as soon as he knew that He belonged to Herod's
jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, who was also in

Jerusalem at that time.

8 Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad; for
he had desired for a long time to see Him, because he had
heard many things about Him, and he hoped to see some

miracle done by Him.

9 Then he questioned Him with many words, but He

answered him nothing.

10 And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently

accused Him.

11 Then Herod, with his men of war, treated Him with
contempt and mocked Him, arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe,

and sent Him back to Pilate.

12 That very day Pilate and Herod became friends with each
other, for previously they had been at enmity with each

other.

A common denominator can become the one thing that brings
two sides together. At one time enemies can become allies when

a common cause is realized between both sides.

“Differences can be laid aside when a greater problem is made to arise”.

Fan the flame with your enemy’s name
and when both feel the heat, they can feel the same.

For such a time as this!

Jeremiah 29:7

7 And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to
be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in

its peace you will have peace.

Settle down and get back on track.

Romans 12:16-18

16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your
mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not

be wise in your own opinion.

17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in

the sight of all men.

18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably

with all men.

Could it be that we have been put in this place to pray for peace

so that the strivings cease?

Romans 12:8-14

8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with
liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy,

with cheerfulness.

9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to

what is good.

10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love,

in honor giving preference to one another;
11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the

Lord;

12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing

steadfastly in prayer;

13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

Remember your calling!

Jeremiah 29:25-29

25 Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying:
You have sent letters in your name to all the people who are
at Jerusalem, to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest,

and to all the priests, saying,

26 The Lord has made you priest instead of Jehoiada the
priest, so that there should be officers in the house of the
Lord over every man who is demented and considers himself
a prophet, that you should put him in prison and in the

stocks.

27 Now therefore, why have you not rebuked Jeremiah of
Anathoth who makes himself a prophet to you?
28 For he has sent to us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is
long; build houses and dwell in them, and plant gardens and

eat their fruit.

29 Now Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the hearing

of Jeremiah the prophet.

They will be brought to the light; the lies and deception will be

shown as plots against God’s people.

2 Corinthians 7:8-12

8 For even if I made you sorry with my letter, I do not regret
it; though I did regret it. For I perceive that the same epistle

made you sorry, though only for a while.

9 Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your
sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a
godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing.
10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to
salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world

produces death.

11 For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly
manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of
yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement
desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved

yourselves to be clear in this matter.

12 Therefore, although I wrote to you, I did not do it for the
sake of him who had done the wrong, nor for the sake of him
who suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of

God might appear to you.

Ezekiel 39:3

3 Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand, and cause

the arrows to fall out of your right hand.

Those who shoot at you shall be unarmed and their arrows will
be of no use to them anymore. You have no need to defend your
name anymore. The Lord will make your enemies known when

He exposes their deception and their conspiracy.
